Dongducheon city

This museum was prepared with the purpose to provide a new interpretation and understanding about the Korean War which is gradually passing out of the minds of people and a forum to promote friendship between the War participant countries and Korea as well, as an occasion for the development of local culture and economy. In addition, the first museum for peace keeping, north of the Han River, this museum is also expected to contribute to awakening the people to the importance of national security and the misery of war.
